AIR（アーティスト・イン・レジデンス）事業運営に携わる人、AIR事業開始を検討している個人や団体、地方自治体やまちづくりに関わる人、東南アジアのアートに関心のある人などを対象とした、合宿型ワークショップとシンポジウムを開催。施設に宿泊しつつ「文化芸術事業やアーティストの活動と、地域コミュニティとの付き合い方」について、講師、ゲスト、チューターによるレクチャーを交え情報を共有し、ディスカッションを通して今後の課題や効果について互いに研究。受入れ側となる運営者が、3日間の合宿体験を通して考えるスタイルは昨年度と変わらないが、2016年度は講師、ゲスト、チューターと参加者との対話の時間を多く実施。また、「アートプロジェクトとアーティストのサバイバルについて」というテーマで、アジアのアートシーンと独自のネットワークを構築してきた国内ゲストと、アジアからのアーティスト2組による「アジアフォーラム」を一般参加可能なプログラムとして開催した。
