2015年12月実行委員会(5か国7名参加)を経て、2016年1月東京にて「アジア非営利セクター国際会議」を2日間開催した。
東南アジア、北東アジアを中心に14か国より助成財団、中間支援団体、NPO/NGO、社会的企業、研究機関等約120名が参加し、アジアにおける非営利セクターの現況、新たな傾向、共通の社会課題と非営利セクターの果たすべき役割等について報告と議論、および9グループに分かれて今後のアジア域内協力に向けた計画作りを行った。更に海外参加者に向けてフィールドビジットを実施、44名が参加し、高い評価が寄せられた。

From the Organizer

日本で開催されたこの種の国際会議としては例をみない参加者の幅と質の高さであり、満足すべき結果であった。
本事業終了後のフォローアップの一環として、ICANS(International Conference on Asian Nonprofit Sectors)参加者を中心にした調査事業「アジアにおける社会イノベーション調査研究(Research on Social Innovation Eco-System in Asia)」の支援を行うこととした。
