 これまでの共同研究、およびインド・太平洋に展開するアジア研究の広域的なネットワーク形成作業を基礎に、国内外にその成果を公開し、国際シンポジウムを国内で開催した。
 具体的には、第9回国際アジア研究者大会へ参加し、セッションを開催。日本のアジア研究の国際的発信と交流を行った。また、オーストラリアのアジア学会の代表でアデレード大学教授プルネンドラ・ジェインを立教大学へ招き、講演会を開催。アジア研究・国際政治学を基礎とする共同研究を行なった。
 さらに、一般公開の国際シンポジウム「21世紀アジアをめぐる海の国際政治―インド洋・ベンガル湾・南シナ海・東シナ海・太平洋―」(2015年12月12日)を開催し、研究成果を国内にも発信。共同研究者のネットワークを通じた広報のみならず、大学HPや学会HPの広報を行い、学生、関係領域の専門家、関心を有する一般の市民等参加者は100名を超えた。
